The purpose of the NJ Association of Conservation Districts is to conduct educational, scientific and charitable work concerning the conservation, maintenance, improvement, development and use of land, soil, water, trees, vegetation, fish and wildlife, open space and other renewable natural resources.​

NJ Conservation Partnership

​The New Jersey Conservation Partnership is a consortium of local, state and federal government agencies that provide natural resource management services to land owners and users in New Jersey.  The conservation services are directed at the specific needs of the areas within their jurisdiction including but not limited to promoting resource conservation activities on suburban, urban and agricultural lands.

​Matt Ward, NJACD Second Vice President and Ines Zimmerman, NJACD Executive Director met with U.S. Representative William Pascrell  (NJ 9th District) during the National Association of Conservation Districts’ annual Spring Fly In. 
 Conservation District representatives from around the country met with Congressional members to highlight the contributions to locally led conservation and to advocate for the next Farm Bill.
